Job Title: Document Control Specialist
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Document Control Specialist for a utility component manufacturing client in Orange County. As the Document Control Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing processes for document control, ensuring that all documentation meets formal requirements and standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, improving and documenting processes to enhance the workflow and help the company achieve its goals. You will assist in various duties such as sub-assembly, assembly, build test, R&D, and QA, and collaborate with the engineers. Additionally, you'll be responsible for managing changes generated in the quality system, ensuring that the information is updated and readily available. This includes establishing Quality Agreements/Clauses, participating in internal, external, third-party, and regulatory audits, and providing responses as needed. You will support additional project team activities, investigations, and participate in process improvement activities and projects. Your role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and up-to-date. This position is on-site, 5 days a week in Huntington Beach, CA from 8:00 am -4:30 pm.
Requirements
BA Degree in Engineering or 2-3 years working in quality
Experience with document control systems that maintain and process document revisions
Capable of writing procedures
Experience in establishing procedures for various areas
Knowledge of performing engineering tasks, material testing, R&D, and assembly processes
Experience with Minitab
Experience with MS Office
Strong technical and "hands-on" aptitude
Pay: $60,000 - $67,000
